Last week, Aversan’s Director of Engineering, Scott Moses, had the pleasure of attending the Farnborough International Airshow 2014. This year’s show was jam packed with industry announcements, technological innovations and most of all, deal making. This year’s event had reportedly broken records with the total sum of orders and commitments reaching $201 billion, $152 billion of which was for aircraft. [1]
Aversan also participated in the Canadian program organized by Industry Canada, Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development and the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC). This was a fantastic, well-organized program filled with networking receptions, dinners and more. Many opportunities were created for participants to connect to trade commissioners, government officials and other company representatives. Overall it was a great event where Aversan was able to establish new relationships and gain valuable insight into exciting future opportunities.
