Aversan provided software verification services, system design services, and performed embedded software development for the Japanese P-X Advanced Maritime Patrol Plane.

The P-X Advanced Maritime Patrol Plane (or Kawasaki P-1) is a Japanese maritime patrol aircraft for the Japan Maritime Self Defence Force that was developed as a replacement for the P-3C Orion. The P-X is the first operational aircraft in the world to use the fly-by-light system, which offers increased resistance to high electromagnetic interference and uses fibre optics to transfer flight control commands at higher speeds
