Next Generation Health and Usage Monitor (NG HUMS)
Aversan was selected by a Tier-1 supplier as the prime subcontractor for the turn-key product development and end-to-end hardware and software design of their Next Generation Health and Usage Monitoring System (NG HUMS). Aversan was responsible for the complete product delivery of this avionics controller, encompassing all engineering disciplines and relevant aspects of the product development lifecycle. The NG HUMS is designed for commercial and military helicopter applications with the purpose of conducting advanced prognostics for engine and rotor maintenance. Product hardware, software, and mechanical design were developed to conform to DO-254, DO-178C & DO-160G certification requirements respectively. • Design Assurance Level D
