Development of Provincial Conformance and Interoperability Test Platform

Aversan developed a Conformance and Interoperability Testing Platform for the Province of Ontario to facilitate the development and on-boarding of prospective third party point-of-service applications.

The Conformance and Interoperability Testing Platform acts as the foundation for a standardized and centralized process and facility for all Conformance and Interoperability testing to ensure that point of care (POC) systems at labs, hospitals, and pharmacies conform to the messaging standards defined by eHealth Ontario. Prior to connecting to the Health Information Access Layer (HIAL), POCs must pass through technical and semantic interoperability testing using CITP, to ensure conformance.
