Aversan was selected by a Tier-1 avionics OEM to support the development of a landing gear controller. The landing gear steering control unit (LGSCU) is a fully electronic device used to control the landing gear operation and nose-wheel steering control functions on an aircraft. The function of the LGSCU is to control landing gear extension and retraction, as well as to provide steering control based on pilot inputs.
Aversan has been involved with all levels of requirements definition, testing, and software development for the Bombardier G78K LGSCU. Furthermore, Aversan was responsible for product level and integration test-case development using an in-house automated test environment, increasing the efficiency of testing.
