Aversan was selected by a Tier-1 avionics OEM to support the development of an APU (auxiliary power unit). The FADEC (full assurance digital engine controller) of the APU consists of two computer software configuration items (CSCI): the electronic control box (ECB) software and the application software.

Aversan was involved with the development and review of the high-level requirements, low-level requirements, and design documents for the OS and Bootstrap software for the ECB, along with code reviews for the ECB software.
