Aircraft Data Gateway (ADG)

Aversan was the prime subcontractor for the product development of a Tier-1 supplier’s Aircraft Data Gateway (ADG). The ADG allows data to flow in and out of avionics and cabin systems. It is designed for both commercial and business aircraft and is a part of the client’s Connected Aircraft product offering.

Aversan was responsible for the full product development of the ADG, including:

• Mechanical Design (DO 160G compliant)

• Hardware engineering (DO-254 compliant)

• Software engineering (DO-178C compliant)

• Systems engineering

• Manufacturing

• After-market support

With Aversan’s design expertise, the ADG was able to increase the ease with which on-board aircraft data is collected and analyzed, therefore supporting high-speed and efficient communication.
