We are proud to have participated in CANSEC 2026, Canada’s largest and most important defence, security, and technology event, held May 27–28 at the Cohere Centre (formerly the EY Centre) in Ottawa.

The event provided an excellent opportunity to connect with defence organizations, aerospace manufacturers, government stakeholders, and industry partners from across Canada and around the world. Throughout the two-day exhibition, our team engaged in valuable discussions about the evolving needs of Defence, Aerospace, and Space programs, and the role safety-critical avionics technologies play in supporting mission success.

With more than 20 years of experience supporting mission- and safety-critical airborne electronics programs, Aversan showcased its comprehensive capabilities across the entire avionics lifecycle, including:

  • ARP4754A / ARP4761 Systems engineering development
  • DO-178C Software development and Verification & Validation (V&V)
  • DO-254 Hardware development and Design Verification Testing (DVT)
  • DO-160 Environmental qualification and testing
  • Avionics Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
  • Avionics Systems Integration Labs (SIL) and Iron Bird Test Rig
  • CAR 573.02 AMO Avionics depot MRO and repair services
  • Obsolescence-driven redesign, modernization, and long-term sustainment
  • AS9100 Electronics manufacturing services
  • FAA, EASA, and Transport Canada certification support

We would like to thank everyone who visited our booth and took the time to meet with our team. The strong engagement throughout the event reinforced the importance of collaboration in advancing Canada’s defence and aerospace capabilities.

We remain committed to helping customers reduce program risk, accelerate certification efforts, support legacy platforms, and deliver mission-critical solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

We look forward to continuing the conversations started at CANSEC 2026 and building new partnerships in the months ahead.

See you at CANSEC 2027.
