Jaguar Propulsion Software

The Jaguar Honeywell project was a Honeywell propulsion/afterburner F-125 engine project. It involved the software modification of the legacy 1042 ECU/BEC Taiwan fighter propulsion system into the Indian Jaguar airframe for a flight demonstration and competitive fly-off. The Jaguar re-engine flight demo program was intended to demonstrate a Honeywell F-125 engine on an Indian Air Force Jaguar aircraft.

For the flight demonstration, software for the engine controllers (ECU/BEC) was modified by Aversan to accommodate the Jaguar installation and to meet certain flight demo requirements. The Jaguar software effort started in July 2009. Successful engine runs were completed at the SanTan engine test facility.
