Aversan performed Hardware Software Integration (HSI) Testing for Honeywell to verify the actual binary to be used live on a field controller.

As a result, this required all external sensors and data inputs to be set up to simulate conditions that would be experienced in the field, making this form of testing more complex and nuanced than other forms of testing. For this reason, HSI Testing was limited to testing requirements that could not be reliably tested at other levels of test such as timing, data acquisition, or shutdown conditions.
