The College of American Pathologists faced challenges where introducing changes to production software would inadvertently cause downtime to production systems due to insufficient testing and change review. Aversan implemented the process through which Change Requests (CRs) were submitted and reviewed by the Change Control Board, a group of employees responsible for reviewing and approving the changes to be made to the system on a weekly basis. By developing a solution to automate this process, Aversan allowed board members to more easily review CRs and reduce the frequency of CCB meetings from once a week to once a month, thus increasing the efficiency of the process.
