Aircraft Data Gateway (ADG)
Aversan was selected as the prime subcontractor for the full product development of a Tier-1 supplier’s new Aircraft Data Gateway (ADG). The ADG is designed for commercial and business aircrafts and is a part of the client’s Connected Aircraft product offering. It acts as a gateway for data that flows into and out of the avionics and/or cabin system. Aversan is responsible for the hardware, software, mechanical design, systems engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and after-support for the product. Product hardware, software, and mechanical design were developed to conform to DO-254, DO-178C and DO-160G certification requirements respectively. The ADG is designed to support high-speed and efficient communication while increasing the ease with which on-board aircraft data can be collected and analyzed.
