A350 XWB System Integration by Aversan

A350 XWB System Integration

Aversan managed and executed systems integration testing and Safety of Flight (SoF) testing for the Airbus A350 XWB Environmental Control System. This project aimed to improve the efficiency of the client’s testing. Aversan developed automated tools and completed hardware-in-the-loop testing of safety-critical controllers.

As a result of Aversan’s extensive testing, more than 2000 internal problem reports were raised during a span of 4 years— over 95% of which were legitimate issues requiring immediate remediation. In addition, Aversan was able to reduce the elapsed time from code release to first flight for the SoF campaign down to 6 weeks, compared to the original projected timeframe of 4-6 months. Aversan’s ability to bring down the test cycle times allowed the client to meet their scheduled deadlines for the aircraft’s first flight.
