Enotify Dimensions
ENOTIFY is a powerful tool that significantly simplifies the use of the “Event Trigger” feature of the Serena® Changeman™ Dimensions® (“Dimensions”) product. ENOTIFY allows the business user of Dimensions to customize e-mail notifications and implement custom automation without detailed knowledge of Dimensions or a programming language. Using a GUI interface a non-technical user can define a simple rule to receive e-mails or kick-off a script.

Implemented a Dimensions process to allow just the changes to be promoted and deployed. Designed and developed a Custom Event Callout Trigger to add seamless deployment based on actioning a request or baseline to key states. Implemented rollback, atomic deployment and merge conflict enforcement capabilities. Developed a wrapper over Beyond Compare 2 so it could be utilized as a merge tool. Developed provisioning script to set default compare and merge tools. Performed a Version Manager migration to Dimensions 10 using the Migration Console. |
