This February, 2015, PNAA 2015 is being held by the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance in Lynnwood, Washington. We’ve compiled a list of the top 6 reasons you should be attending the conference!

3. Tour Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Centers

 

This is the first year where attendees have the opportunity to go on a tour of an Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center. The facility is home to Everett Community College and is a 37,000 sq. ft training facility that replicates a real manufacturing facility. Other tours available are those of the Boeing Everett and Boeing Renton facilities.

 

4. The Suppliers Fair

 

HandshakeThe Suppliers Fair at the PNAA Aerospace Conference is the MUST attend event of the week. Held on Thursday, February 12, from 1:30-5:00 p.m., attendees are able to participate in B2Bs with representatives from OEMs and select Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in 15 minute meetings. This is a great opportunity to get ask questions and get your capabilities in front of the big companies.

 

5. Seattle is an Aerospace Hub

 

SeattleThe event is taking place in Lynnwood, Washington, which is conveniently located in one of North America’s largest Aerospace markets. While you’re staying in the area, take advantage of the location! Not only is Seattle and the surrounding area a cool place to visit, but it is also home to a large number of big Aerospace companies, such as Boeing, Honeywell, Lockheed Martin, and Rolls-Royce. And when you’re done meeting major aerospace players, there’s the Museum of Flight! This tourist attraction is rated very highly and recommended to anyone who enjoys aviation or history (and let’s be honest, if you’re working in Aerospace, you probably do!)
